Snohomish County Farmer’s Markets: Your Complete 2026 Guide

What farmer’s markets are open in Snohomish County in 2026?

Snohomish County Farmer’s Markets: Snohomish County has more than 10 active farmer’s markets running May through October in 2026, from Edmonds and Bothell to Everett, Mukilteo, Monroe, and beyond.

If someone asks me what makes Snohomish County feel different from Seattle — beyond the lower price tags and the breathing room — I always mention the farmer’s markets. Not as a throwaway lifestyle point, but as a real indicator of how this community is wired. These markets are not afterthoughts. They are genuinely well-organized, deeply local, and embedded into the rhythms of neighborhoods I have been selling homes in for over two decades. From the waterfront buzz of Everett’s Boxcar Park on a Sunday morning to the laid-back Wednesday evening energy at Park Ridge Community Market in Bothell, Snohomish County’s market scene reflects exactly the kind of community fabric that pulls buyers here and keeps residents rooted.

Whether you are already living in Mill Creek and looking for something to do on a weeknight, or you are considering a move to the area and want to understand what daily life actually looks and feels like here, this is your complete guide to every farmer’s market in Snohomish County in 2026.

Bothell and Mill Creek: Close to Home and Worth the Drive

If you live in Mill Creek or Bothell, your closest and most convenient option is the Park Ridge Community Market, located at 3805 Maltby Road in Bothell. It runs every Wednesday from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m., June through September, in the parking lot in front of Park Ridge Community Church. With over 55 vendors, this market covers the full range: local crafts, fresh produce, artisan goods, live music, and prepared foods. It is smoke-free, well-organized, and draws a consistent neighborhood crowd that makes it feel more like a weekly gathering than a shopping errand.

Many of my buyers who relocate from Seattle are genuinely surprised by how close and accessible this kind of community infrastructure is once they are settled in Mill Creek or Bothell. It is one of those details you can not easily explain in a listing description, but you feel it the moment you show up on a warm Wednesday evening.

The nearest market outside of Bothell proper is the Edmonds Museum Summer Market, which is well worth the short drive south.

Neighborhood Guides

Edmonds: 90 Vendors, Rain or Shine, Every Saturday

The Edmonds Museum Summer Market is one of the most established and polished markets in the county. Held at 118 5th Avenue North in historic downtown Edmonds, it runs every Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., May through mid-October. In 2025, the market opened May 3rd with over 90 vendors, and the 2026 season follows the same well-loved format.

What sets Edmonds apart is its strict vendor standards: every farmer grows or raises the produce they sell, and every artisan makes what they bring to market. No resellers, no imported goods, no franchises. The result is a genuinely local, genuinely high-quality experience. Live music, food vendors, fresh flowers, specialty baked goods, and a location a few blocks from the Puget Sound waterfront make this one of the most enjoyable Saturday mornings you can have in Snohomish County.

For anyone considering a move to south Snohomish County, a Saturday morning at this market followed by lunch on the Edmonds waterfront is one of my favorite informal “let me show you what life looks like here” experiences.

Everett: The Waterfront Market With Real Staying Power

The Everett Farmers Market is in its 24th season in 2026, which tells you everything you need to know about how well this community has supported it. Located at 2930 Wetmore Avenue (at Hewitt and Wetmore), the market runs every Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with opening day set for May 10, 2026. Pre-season “Get Ready Markets” run March 22 and April 19 for those who just can not wait.

The waterfront setting at the Port of Everett gives this market a distinct energy. You get fresh produce, local artisans, and prepared foods alongside marina views and the particular weekend ease of a city that has done a lot of work to make its downtown feel alive. The market accepts SNAP, SNAP Market Match, WIC FMNP, and senior nutrition program benefits, which reflects the organizers’ commitment to making locally grown food accessible to the whole community.

If you are exploring Everett as a place to live, this market is a strong reason to schedule your visit for a Sunday.

Mukilteo: A Beloved Market Makes Its Return in 2026

Here is one to get genuinely excited about. The Mukilteo Farmers Market is making its return in 2026 after an extended hiatus, and the community response has been enthusiastic. The market will be held at Lighthouse Park (609 Front Street, Mukilteo) every Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., June 3 through August 26, 2026. New organizers are leading the relaunch, with a renewed focus on sustainability and community access.

Lighthouse Park is one of the more beautiful settings for an outdoor market anywhere in Snohomish County. The waterfront location, the Puget Sound backdrop, and the Mukilteo ferry in the background make this more than a shopping trip. A free shuttle runs from nearby Rosehill Community Center (304 Lincoln Avenue) to help manage parking, which is a thoughtful touch for what promises to be a well-attended return.

If you have been in Mukilteo for a while and missed this market, now is the time to mark your calendar. If you are newer to the area, this is the kind of thing that makes you feel good about where you chose to land.

Snohomish County Farmer’s Markets: The Rest of the County

Snohomish County’s market scene extends well beyond its larger cities, and if you have not explored some of these smaller-town options, you are missing out.

Snohomish Farmers Market is celebrating its 36th year in 2026. Held every Thursday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., May through October, at the corner of Cedar Avenue and Pearl Street in historic downtown Snohomish, this is one of the most complete markets in the county. Fresh produce, grass-fed beef, local honey, specialty coffee, prepared foods, and local artisans make it a full afternoon. Rain or shine, no exceptions.

Monroe Farmers Market runs Wednesdays from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 1 Galaxy Way, May 28 through September 24. Arlington Farmers Market is open Saturdays from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., May 10 through September 27, at 114 N. Olympic Avenue in Legion Park, with additional holiday markets in October, November, and December. Marysville Farmers Market moved to a new venue at Comeford Park (501 Delta Avenue) and runs Wednesdays from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m., May 28 through August 20.

Lake Stevens Farmers Market is at North Cove Park (1806 Main Street) every Wednesday from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m., June through August, with a Harvest Market on Saturday, October 11. Stanwood Farmers Market runs Fridays from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m. at 8727 271st Street NW, May 30 through September 26 (no market July 4th). Sultan Farmers Market holds court at River Park, 101 Main Street, every Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., May 17 through September 27. Granite Falls Farmers Market runs Sundays from mid-June through the end of August at 106 Cascade Avenue.

Many of these markets participate in SNAP Market Match, WIC FMNP, and the Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. Look for the information booth at each market for details.

Practical Tips for Making the Most of Market Season

A few things I have learned from years of weekend mornings at these markets:

  • Arrive early for the best produce and flowers. Peak selection is always in the first hour. If you show up close to closing, you may find deals, but the best items will be gone.
  • Bring reusable bags. Every market is better when you are not juggling a growing pile of paper bags between vendors.
  • Bring cash as a backup. Most vendors now accept cards, but not all, and the ones with the best items are often the cash-only holdouts.
  • Check for live music and special events. Larger markets like Edmonds and Everett regularly feature musicians, and some markets hold themed harvest events in September and October that are worth planning around.
  • Use the SNAP and food access programs if you qualify. Several markets offer matching programs that effectively double your purchasing power for fresh produce. Stop by the information booth at your market to enroll.

Snohomish County’s market season runs roughly May through October with the peak window being June through September. The Edmonds market runs the longest season, wrapping up mid-October. If you want markets year-round, the City of Edmonds also runs winter “Cabin Fever Markets” on select Saturdays from January through April.

These Markets Are a Preview of What It Means to Live Here

I have been helping people buy and sell homes in Mill Creek, Bothell, and across Snohomish County for over 20 years. When buyers ask me what the daily quality of life is like, I do not lead with commute times or price-per-square-foot comparisons. I tell them to spend a Wednesday evening at Park Ridge, or a Sunday morning at the Everett waterfront, or a Thursday in downtown Snohomish. These markets are a direct expression of what this community values, and they tell you more about a neighborhood than any listing description can.
