About Becca Locke
Some agents cover Mill Creek. I live here.
I’m Becca Locke, founder of Locke Real Estate and a real estate advisor with more than 20 years of experience helping buyers and sellers navigate one of the most dynamic housing markets in Washington State. I’ve lived in Mill Creek for 13 years, raised my family here, and built a practice that reflects genuine investment in this community. That’s not a marketing line. It’s just true.
With 500+ homes sold across Mill Creek, Bothell, Edmonds, Snohomish, and the greater King and Snohomish County markets, I consistently rank in the top 5% of agents in the Northwest MLS. That track record didn’t come from volume for volume’s sake. It came from working with real people through real transitions and earning their trust along the way.
A Career That Took the Long Way Around (On Purpose)
I didn’t start in real estate intending to build an executive career. But that’s what happened.
After establishing myself as a producing agent, I spent a decade in leadership roles that most advisors never see from the inside. I served as General Manager of Ben Kinney Companies, one of the largest Keller Williams organizations in the country, and as the founding designated broker of Compass Washington. Along the way I became a national real estate speaker and trainer, and a panelist at Inman, the industry’s most respected conference.
That decade taught me how real estate businesses succeed and fail at scale. How negotiations unravel. Where agents leave money on the table. How to build systems that protect clients even when markets get complicated. It also gave me a deep respect for what it actually takes to serve someone well through one of the biggest financial decisions of their life.
When my two sons headed off to college, both staying close to home here in the Pacific Northwest, I came back to client-facing work. Not because I had to. Because it’s where I do my best work.
Who I Am Outside the Transaction
I’ve been a Pacific Northwest resident my entire life. Before real estate, I was a professional musician in Seattle, which taught me more about reading a room and connecting with people than any training program ever could.
I’m a wife, a mother of two college-age sons, and a proud empty nester navigating the exact same life transition many of my clients are facing. I know what it feels like to stand in a home you’ve loved for years and wonder what comes next. That lived experience shapes how I show up for downsizing clients in a way that’s hard to manufacture.
I’m also a lifelong learner. I recently completed a degree in Organizational Leadership, graduating Summa Cum Laude, because I believe the best advisors never stop developing their craft. And yes, I have a dog named Teddy who occasionally makes appearances on Instagram.
My Approach to Real Estate
I describe my style as strategy and heart, and I mean both parts equally.
The strategy side looks like this: precise pricing analysis, sharp negotiation, a listing process refined over two decades, and the ability to read market conditions in real time across Mill Creek and the surrounding Snohomish County communities. I don’t guess. I use data, pattern recognition, and 20 years of watching this market move through cycles.
The heart side looks like this: I tell clients what they need to hear, not what they want to hear. I think that’s the most respectful thing an advisor can do. Whether you’re a first-time buyer trying to understand what you can actually afford in today’s Mill Creek market, a homeowner who has lived in your house for 25 years and isn’t sure where to begin, or a relocation client trying to figure out whether Mill Creek, Bothell, or Edmonds is the right fit for your family, I’m going to give you the honest picture.
I specialize in three groups: first-time homebuyers, downsizers and empty nesters, and relocation clients coming to the Seattle metro area. What they have in common is that they’re all navigating a significant life change, not just a real estate transaction. That distinction matters to me.

Where I Work
My practice is rooted in Mill Creek and extends naturally across the communities that share its character. I regularly serve clients in Bothell, Edmonds, Mukilteo, Woodinville, and broader Snohomish County. For relocation clients, I cover the full Seattle metro area and work with out-of-state buyers who need a trusted advisor on the ground.
I’m affiliated with Real Broker, LLC, a modern brokerage that gives me the tools and reach to serve clients well anywhere in the region while keeping the focus on what actually matters: your outcome.
Let’s Talk
If you’re thinking about buying or selling in Mill Creek or anywhere in Snohomish County, I’d love to start with a real conversation. No scripts, no pressure. Just an honest look at where you are, where you want to go, and what the market looks like right now.
